Taylor is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in both Pennsylvania and Virginia, with a Master’s Degree in Forensic Psychology and is currently finishing up her PhD in Forensic Psychology and Crisis Response. Taylor completed her undergrad in Psychology at West Virginia University and spent the following 7 years working with various populations in the Northern Virginia and DC area.

Taylor’s ideal clients consist of those with anxiety, trauma, PTSD, self-esteem, confidence concerns, time management, phase-of-life transitions, and other related topics. Taylor strives to make the counseling process as effective for them as she can, without causing any anxiety in the client. Taylor uses an eclectic approach of therapeutic interventions while also implementing bits of CBT. Some of Taylor’s areas of expertise include PTSD, veterans and first responders, experiences with first responders, trauma-informed care, anxiety, mild depression, and low self-esteem. As a former professional dancer and cheerleader, Taylor also works with young athletes, focusing on confidence and self-esteem.

Taylor aims to foster an environment that allows her clients to feel comfortable and be themselves. Taylor believes that your past experiences influence your present and helps her clients gain a stronger understanding of the impact their past has on their current behavior and thought processes.
