Tanya is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has experience in various areas such as youth residential treatment, corrections, oncology and as a Social Work Instructor. Tanya specializes in working with individuals experiencing grief and loss, transitional points of life, chronic illness, suicide intervention and prevention, boundaries, and many more, by identifying creative approaches and interventions while meeting clients where they are and building a strong working rapport. She believes that the professional relationship between client and therapist is the basis for a constructive and engaging therapeutic process while providing an inclusive, non-biased, and welcoming experience. Some modalities that Tanya utilizes are CBT, mindfulness, family-systems, narrative, psychodynamic, and motivational therapy along with others.
