Tandy Cyrus, LPCC

Therapist

Hi, my name is Tandy Cyrus.  I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a supervision designation and “I understand that life can be difficult to navigate at times, so my goal is to help you restore hope and achieve fulfillment by processing difficult past traumas and experiences and learn to cultivate healthy coping skills. I look forward to working with you to create a better future out of a broken past.”

I believe a collaborative effort between client and therapist results in achieving new tools to navigate emotions and decrease symptoms. I will be utilizing a CBT approach to therapy, so that you become aware of inaccurate or negative thinking and you can view it through a different lens to change negative thoughts into more positive perspectives. I belive that every client is unique so, when needed, we will also utilize motivational interviewing, solution focused therapy, and mindfulness.

I received my Master’s Degree of Education with a concentration in mental health counseling from Lindsey Wilson College in December of 2013. I work with a variety of mental health disorders including anxiety, depression, perinatal mood disorders, adhd, bipolar disorder, pregnancy loss, and adjusting to life’s changes. Let’s work together to get you on the path to a healthier, happier you.
