Tammy is a licensed professional counselor, certified rehabilitation counselor, and trauma specialist with 18 years of experience working with diverse groups. Her approach is person-centered, providing a nonjudgmental environment with a foundation of empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. She always welcomes you, aims to ensure you’re comfortable in session, and will always treat you with the utmost respect. Outside of work, Tammy enjoys quality time with family and friends; weight training and practicing capoeira (an Afro-Brazilian martial art), gameplay, visiting bookstores, studying television and film, and all things penguin…because penguins are just so darn cute!
