As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, I aim to be a lighthouse to adolescents and young adults and break down the negative stigma of therapy. I believe by enlightening them on how to take responsibility of their mental wellbeing it allows them to live their best life and thrive as their most authentic self. I provide an open and collaborative space where one can become more in tune with themselves, learn affective communication, emotional regulation, coping techniques, and navigate the changes and transitions that life brings.
People often describe me as empathetic, a good listener, and a natural communicator. This led me to earn a Master of Arts in Counseling from Ashford University in 2019. My passion for helping others has led me to a career in providing therapeutic services using Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Outside of therapy, I enjoy a variety of activities, including blogging, dancing, roller skating, snuggling up with a good book or watching movies, cooking, baking, short hikes, spontaneous adventures, traveling, engaging in relaxing activities and spending quality time with family and friends.
If you’re ready to live, learn, and grow through life, I would like to be the guiding light on your journey. I invite you to contact me for a consultation. I can be reached via phone or email and I provide both person and tele-health services. I look forward to meeting you.
