Tahlia is an empathetic, flexible, adaptable, and compassionate therapist who believes that nonverbal communication provides as much information as verbal communication. Tahlia believes clients are their own best advocates and encourages clients to utilize their voice. Tahlia encourages clients to trust their instincts, build trusting relationships, explore healthy boundaries, and learn to communicate.
Tahlia leans towards person-centered, family systems, and solutions based modalities, with flexibility to utilize other modalities that will help meet her client’s needs. She encourages family involvement, teaches coping skills, and flexible thinking to empower confidence and courage for self-soothing outside of the therapy room. Tahlia brings her unorthodox, humorous, and quirky self to each session encouraging her clients to embrace their true selves.
Tahlia holds her Bachelor of Science Degree in Community Psychology and Master of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Counselor Education, both from St. Cloud State University.
Outside of the office, Tahlia enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and two dogs. Her hobbies include reading, going on hiking adventures, and spending time in Missouri. One of her favorite past times is watching reality television shows or The Golden Girls.
