Sherrell Gibbs, LPC-Associate

Sherrell is a Licensed Professional Counselor – Associate with a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor with a certification in Addiction Studies, and a National Certified Counselor. Sherrell shares her theoretical orientation is integrative, Cognitive Behavior Therapy and drawing in elements from Mindfulness. Sherrel has experience working in state agencies, psychiatric hospitals, and non-profit organizations with adolescents, young adults, and adult populations.
Sherrell’s approach to therapy is client-centered and tailored to each client’s unique needs; while fostering client autonomy, while being supportive in navigating the complexities that can come with mental health concerns. Sherrell believes that walking alongside her clients on their journey towards healing and wellness is a great privilege.
