Shanna is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who completed her Masters of Arts Degree in Counseling and Psychology from Bethel University. She is passionate about meeting people where they are at and walking alongside them as they process through what their life has held for them. She creates a productive space that is safe, authentic and judgment free. Shanna enjoys successfully equipping clients with tools and teaching them how to utilize skills and techniques to improve management of behaviors, thoughts, emotions and coping. She enjoys helping others see how resilient they are, even in the face of adversity. She is trauma-informed and approaches therapy with a solution focused, client-centered, strength-based approach.

Shanna enjoys working with individuals and families and has extensive experience working with children, adolescents and young adults. She also has worked with children in processing through traumas they may have been exposed to. Shanna is very passionate about working with Clients with confidence and self-esteem issues especially with teens and adolescents. She also really enjoys working with anxiety and providing faith-based counseling. She has previous experience working with anger management (children only), depression, parenting, sports/performance anxiety, stress management and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (children).
