From a young age, I remember being fascinated with the human condition. This fascination led me in part to my job in the United States Army as a psychological operations specialist with the 82nd Airborne. After my journey with the military, I decided to give back to my country and provide much needed support for veterans and anyone else suffering. With my life experience and education, I am able to provide comfort and understanding in many different areas. I am the kind of counselor that will challenge my clients to be the best version of themselves through self-exploration in a nonjudgmental environment. I’m dedicating this next chapter in my life to helping others that have experienced trauma, depression, substance abuse, grief or any other condition. The foundation for therapy I start from is cognitive behavior therapy (CBT). I also implement trauma focused CBT, narrative therapy, cognitive therapy, and behavior therapy. I use mindfulness techniques alongside these modalities.
In my free time, I love riding my motorcycle through the mountains, playing baseball/softball, and traveling. I also enjoy going listening to music and watching my kids play sports.
