Bio

Shaina Blair Champion Richardson is a New Jersey native who relocated to Tennessee in 2005 to pursue her clinical education and put her passion for volunteerism to work.

Shaina earned her Masters of Social Work from the University of Tennessee in 2017, her Bachelors of Social Work from the University of Tennessee Knoxville in 2010, her Graduate Certificate in Trauma Treatment also from the University of Tennessee in 2017. She has had training in professional development provided by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations and the John E. Reid Association.

Shaina’s early career was with the Department of Children’s Services conducting child welfare investigations and has been in a clinical or hospital setting for the past 5 years.

Shaina’s work in the Emergency Room is where she found her true passion in working with trauma survivors, new parents, the vulnerable geriatric population, and their families.

Shaina believes that the family unit plays a large part in the development of our day to day lives and approaches her practice accordingly.
