Sarah earned her Master of Social Work degree from Salem State University. She works with young adults and adults on concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, self-esteem, and navigating society with a non-neurotypical mind. Sarah is LGBTQIA+ allied. She also holds a Master of Theological Studies degree from Harvard Divinity School, and is interested in the intersections of mental health, religion, and spirituality.
Sarah’s clients would describe her as gentle, warm, and attentive. She takes a client-centered approach, and tailors sessions to be more structured or offer space for free-flowing exploration depending on individual needs. Sarah grounds her work in the non-pathologizing practice of Narrative Therapy, and uses other modalities including CBT, Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Sarah is dedicated to supporting individuals who seek to address problems in their lives and connect to their own wisdom.
