Sarah Beasley, MA, LPC, LCDC

Therapist

Sarah Beasley is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Sam Houston State University, before earning her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Midwestern State University. Sarah spent three years working at a residential treatment center for eating disorders where she developed a passion for working with eating disorders and adolescent populations. Since completing her education, she has worked in a private practice setting where she gained valuable experience counseling couples, families, and individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Sarah approaches therapy from a person-centered point of view because she holds the belief that every person is the expert on their own self. Sometimes we just need help understanding what that means. That is where Sarah comes in as a therapist, to walk with you, reflect and understand the knowledge you already have of yourself. She finds her joy and fulfillment in understanding others and taking part in their journey to self-discovery. She incorporates techniques from approaches such as CBT and ACT to best fit her client’s needs. She recognizes that each person is a uniquely complex individual and as such, has a uniquely complex set of needs from therapy. She works to meet you where you are, taking the time to understand what you need, and will happily walk with you on the journey to reach those needs. In her free time, Sarah enjoys lounging at home with her partner and their three fur babies, trying new restaurants and watching classic comfort shows.
