Sara is an LAC with 3 years’ experience in the mental health field and almost a decade in behavioral health and clinical family coaching. She believes that bringing about meaningful and long-lasting change must first start with a strong therapeutic connection and trusting environment. Sara has extensive experience working with teens, young adults, and adults who are neurodivergent, including those on the Autism spectrum, in addition to individuals with OCD, anxiety, trauma, parenting and familial struggles, childhood behavioral issues, and low self-esteem. Born in Dubai and raised in 11 countries by a British father and an American mother, Sara is honored to work with a diverse population. She upholds all gender identities and expressions, sexual orientations, religious or spiritual beliefs, and strives to be both culturally conscious and responsive. Sara utilizes a multi-modal approach to tailor the treatment experience to her clients’ needs, which may include cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, behavior management training, exposure therapy, and mindfulness- to name a few! Her goal is to ensure her clients feel both understood and closer to finding more hope and healing by fostering a collaborative, supportive environment and providing relevant and applicable strategies. Outside of work, Sara is a proud mother to her 2 fur babies and her 5 year old son.
