Sandra is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida who received her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology in Bannockburn, Illinois. She also attended the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago for two years. Sandra has experience working with all ages. She served as the director of the Counseling Center in Chicago and owned her practice for five years. Her treatment focuses include enhancing the parent-child relationship and working with children with ADHD, behavioral concerns, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Sandra has years of experience practicing Parent-Child Interaction Therapy using Positive Parenting and Play Therapy techniques. Sand tray, games, and art are a large part of her treatment plans. Sandra also has experience and training working with adolescents and adults experiencing PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and grief. Sandra utilizes a variety of modalities to address clients’ needs, including Adlerian, Individual and Solution-Focused, ACT, and CBT. Sandra has experience helping those facing golden issues with finances, health, and adult relationships.

On a personal note, Sandra has four amazing children, three (perfect) grandchildren, a wonderful husband, and two beautiful English Cream Golden Retrievers! They keep her active and interested in what is new and exciting in the world. Her faith grounds her life and practice, and she loves to play and be with people!
