Samirah is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s degree from the North Carolina State University School of Social Work. She brings more than eleven years of experience supporting children, families, and individuals across both clinical and non-clinical settings, helping people of all ages navigate challenges and foster meaningful personal growth.
As a therapist, Samirah is dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel truly heard, understood, and valued. She leads with empathy and genuine curiosity, centering her work on each person’s unique story and emotional experience. Her therapeutic toolkit includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT),
Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Psychotherapy (Talk Therapy), along with additional approaches tailored to meet the specific needs of her clients. Samirah views therapy as a collaborative process, partnering with clients to explore their inner world, address concerns, and move toward healing and self-discovery.
Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Samirah is the proud parent of two children and a dog. Outside of her work, she enjoys exercising, reading, cooking, and spending quality time with family and friends.
