Renee Booth is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) working toward earning her Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker certification. Renee holds minors in Psychology, Native American Studies, and Deaf Language and Culture. She enjoys working with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, substance use, and trauma. Her approach is client-centered, strengths-based, and solution-focused, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Relational-Cultural Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, and Positive Psychology to help clients build resilience, foster connections, and develop practical coping strategies.
Authenticity and humor are central to her practice, creating a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves. She integrates warmth, creativity, and lightheartedness into sessions while providing compassionate support. She also believes in the therapeutic effects of animals and the healing they can provide. With experience in domestic violence advocacy, criminal justice, substance use treatment, and mental health care, she understands the complexities of trauma and systemic barriers that impact clients’ well-being.
Renee enjoys spending time with friends and family, her pets, and the outdoors. Renee is a book lover and can often be found lost in a novel or watching a good movie. When she’s not reading or watching movies, she’s roller skating, trying new hobbies, exploring coffee shops, and traveling.
