Renae Floyd is a proud native and resident of coastal North Carolina. Upon retiring from years of service in the Army and observing unmet clinical needs in military populations, Renae set her sights on studying mental health treatment. Over the years, she became educated and trained in addressing a myriad of clinical issues to include obsessive compulsive disorders, marriage/family therapy and substance misuse treatment. She withholds degrees in psychology & social work respectively, has attained a multitude of supplemental certifications and has conferred a doctoral degree from Pacific University. While providing ethical counseling support is her passion, she enjoys fishing, painting and spending time with her family/pets. Her favorite motto is – “it’s nice to be important, but it’s important to be nice.”
