Raquel Waters, LMSW

Raquel enjoys working with adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, substance abuse, trauma, and grief/loss. She believes therapy is a collaborative process that creates positive change in a warm, safe space where clients are seen and understood with empathy and positive regard. Through a trauma-informed lens, Raquel is passionate about helping people get through the hard things in life by integrating different modalities, multicultural sensitivities, and evidenced-based research. Together, in a space full of grace and love, mixed with a little bit (or a lot) of laughter, you can begin the journey to healing and wholeness. Raquel also comes from a background as an experienced competitive gymnastics coach, and a mom to athletes. She is passionate about working with teen/young adult athletes and parents by providing a safe space of support to process the multitude of emotions that the competitive sports arena inherently presents.
