Perry Blankenship has worked in the mental health field since 2008 and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia and West Virginia. He is recognized for his work with individuals struggling to recover from trauma, grief and loss issues, PTSD with Veterans, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, addiction, depression, and anxiety disorders. Perry works with children ages nine and up, adolescents and adults and specializes in Christian Therapy, CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, and EMDR among other therapies. Perry is a 100% service-connected Veteran of the Persian Gulf (Desert Storm/Shield) War. Perry believes that all healing has a spiritual foundation, and he is committed to assisting others in overcoming the barriers and challenges that hinder them from being successful in their dreams and passions. When he’s not working, Perry and his wife enjoy serving the community as co-pastors in Spotsylvania, Virginia and spending time with their six grandchildren.
