Patrick is a psychotherapist (LCSW) who specializes in aging, adult, and geriatric issues, ranging from changing life stages, loss and impending loss, as well as gender and LGBTQIA+ issues. They received a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Religious Studies from the University of Mary Washington, and a Masters of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. Patrick has worked mostly with the geriatric population, dealing on end of life work and mental health disorders. They work from an integrated model of treatment, incorporating CBT, psychosocial stages of development, psychodynamic, and person-centered therapies among other modalities. When he isn’t practicing, he enjoys playing video games, hanging out with his cats, and writing poetry among other activities.
