Patrick Alwine is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Family and Community Services and Master’s degree in Social Work from East Carolina University. He has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of settings, including those with chronic medical conditions in both pediatric and adult settings. His experience also includes supporting those facing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, as well as other personal challenges.
Patrick aims to create an environment which is comfortable, safe, and genuine where individuals and families can share their stories, and where he can work collaboratively with clients in their journey toward healing, personal growth, and other goals. He utilizes a variety of therapy modalities which include, but are not limited to, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, person-centered, family therapy, and mindfulness. Patrick comes from a military and medical family, but enjoys working with those of all backgrounds and strives to assist others in overcoming any of life’s many challenges.
