Patricia Dickmann, M.D. is a double board certified psychiatrist and addiction medicine specialist. She received her medical training at the University of Minnesota, where she served as President of her Medical School class and Chief Resident of the Psychiatry Residency Program. Dr. Dickmann is an Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota Medical School and is a passionate advocate for mental health education. She has given numerous presentations locally and nationally on topics related to addiction medicine. As a researcher, she has investigated novel approaches to manage treatment-refractory depression and substance use disorders. Dr. Dickmann joins our team following 11 years of clinical experience at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center, where she served as Medical Director of Addiction Recovery Services, Medical Director of the Opioid Treatment Program, and Medical Director of Mental Health Homeless Programs. 

Dr. Dickmann was awarded the prestigious American Legion 2022 National Physician of the Year award for her work with Veterans. She is a highly respected psychiatrist who is known for her compassion, warmth, expertise, and dedication to her patients.

Dr. Dickmann has a special interest in serving first responders, service industry members, and healthcare workers. She understands the unique challenges that these individuals face and is committed to providing them with the highest quality of care.

Dr. Dickmann is dedicated to providing her patients with the most innovative and effective treatments available. She is a leader in the field of psychiatry who is constantly exploring holistic ways to help her patients heal and thrive. She is a certified Brainsway Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation provider.  She is also completed a 100-hour MDMA-assisted psychotherapy educational experience led by staff from Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), Bronx VA, and Mt. Sinai Medical School
