Pamela is a licensed clinical therapist with over 12 years of social work experience. She holds a Master of Social Work degree from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Oakland University. Pamela also has certifications through the Michigan Chapter for Addiction Professionals as a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Certified Clinical Supervisor. She has worked in Substance Abuse Mental Health healthcare agencies and inpatient settings with adults and seniors. Her approach to working with clients is Person-centered and trauma informed while also making therapy a relaxed, comfortable and productive experience. Pamela specializes in addiction and mental health treating individuals with difficulties including addictions, codependency, anxiety, depression, attention deficit, trauma, grief and loss, and women’s issues. Pamela utilizes CBT and Person-centered therapy along with being trauma informed to assist clients with meeting their goals and overcoming obstacles that interfere with individuals living their happiest lives. She believes being non- judgmental, supportive, and empathetic are the fundamental qualities of being a good therapist and necessary in helping clients along their wellness journey.
