Hello, I’m Olivia Stour, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensed in Kansas. I earned my B.A. in Psychology from the University of Tennessee at Martin and my M.A. in Counseling from MidAmerica Nazarene University. I have experience working with individuals 14 years and older, couples, and groups.
I have worked with people facing relational concerns, grief, complex trauma, depression, anxiety, self-esteem and identity development, life transitions, substance use disorders, and co-occurring disorders. My approach to therapy is integrative and client-centered, incorporating emotion-focused, somatic, strengths-based, and logo-therapeutic approaches, with an emphasis on meaning-making within one’s suffering. I am committed to joining my clients on their mental health journey. I believe each person holds the capacity for healing and growth.
My goal is to provide a space of collaboration, safety, and support so clients can increase self-awareness, reconnect with their resilience, and deepen their self-understanding to improve overall quality of life.
