Nella earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Florida State University. Her decision to pursue this field was deeply influenced by her own life experiences, which shaped her passion for helping others feel understood, valued, and supported. Nella embraces a client-centered, person-first approach, meaning she meets each client where they are, honors their lived experience, and tailors her care to fit their specific needs. Her work is rooted in empathy, respect, and a deep belief in the power of human resilience.
Nella has a special focus on co-occurring disorders, including various mood disorders. She works with individuals ages 10 and up, incorporating therapeutic methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and guided self-help to promote healing and lasting change.
