Natalie Gobrial is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and the Assistant Clinical Director at Ellie in Washington, D.C. A Maryland native, she earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland College Park and went on to receive her Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University.

Natalie brings extensive experience across diverse clinical settings, including clinical research, emergency and inpatient psychiatry, forensic environments, community clinics, government agencies, and private practice. In addition to her clinical work, Natalie has is also experienced in providing trainings to physicians and other interdisciplinary professionals, offering specialized instruction on psychiatric assessment, treatment, and additional topics. This breadth of experience informs her ability to understand and respond to complex client needs with both clinical expertise and compassion.

In her therapeutic work, Natalie integrates person-centered therapy with evidence-based approaches such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She works with individuals across the lifespan as well as couples and families, helping clients navigate challenges related to trauma, mental health concerns, relational difficulties, and life transitions.

Her approach is warm, empathetic, and collaborative. Natalie is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can gain insight, build resilience, and develop the tools they need to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.
