Natalia Thompson, MA, LADC

Therapist

Over the past 14 years, Natalia has gained experience specializing in substance use and mental health concerns. She has provided support to diverse populations, including active-duty service members and their families, veterans, first responders, BIPOC clients, high-risk youth, and re-entering citizens who have served time in correctional institutions.

Natalia’s experience is also complemented by her 20 years of service as a retired Army National Guard veteran who served in both peace and wartime missions.

Her therapeutic approach encompasses evidence-based interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, rational emotive behavioral therapy, and solution-focused therapy. She also recognizes the healing potential of laughter, as emphasized by renowned medical clown Hunter “Patch” Adams.

In her free time, Natalia enjoys exploring parks with her husband and dog, volunteering her time to various veteran organizations, watching Spanish-speaking movies, video gaming, painting, and having cookouts with friends.
