Finding a therapist you can trust and feel comfortable sharing your innermost thoughts with can be challenging. Nadine provides a supportive, nonjudgmental environment and believes in working in partnership with each person to help with self-exploration and discovery, looking at self and others through various perspectives and learning skills to improve relationships and overall health and happiness. Nadine actively listens with a warm, empowering, and empathetic style. Areas of focus include depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, relationships, PTSD, parenting, and family/couples’ issues.

Nadine is a licensed clinical social worker who treats individuals, couples and families. Nadine is trained in evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Family Systems Therapy, Trauma Informed, psychodynamic therapy and social skills development in my solution-focused treatment approach. Additionally, Nadine conducts psychological evaluations and have experience collaborating with school staff to ensure a child’s needs are met as well as expertise in helping parents learn to navigate school systems on behalf of their child.

Nadine is also skilled at working with children, adolescents and young adults who are struggling and often experiencing conflict with parents, school, and peers. These challenges can affect schoolwork, relationships, and home life. Nadine helps them understand difficult emotions and work together to build skills to improve confidence and relationships with others and themselves. Family work is incorporated with children and adolescents.

Nadine has worked in inpatient and outpatient settings in both mental health and addiction recovery as well as education and administration. Nadine received her Master of Social Work from Fordham University, Master of Public Health from Boston University and Bachelor of Science in Health Education from SUNY Cortland. The combination of Nadine’s education and experience provides a holistic understanding and approach to mental health and wellness.
