Resident Therapist

Mira graduated with their Masters in Art Therapy from George Washington University in 2025. They have experience working with LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities, as well as with children, young adults, and adults navigating PTSD, behavioral issues, trauma, and mood disorders. Mira’s practice is rooted in a decolonized, person-centered, and trauma-informed framework. They specialize in creative art therapies and mindfulness-based techniques, including grounding practices, art and play therapy, narrative therapy, sand tray therapy, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

Mira is dedicated to fostering a supportive, non-judgmental therapeutic environment built on trust, collaboration, and inclusivity. Their approach focuses on empowering you to develop coping strategies and set goals that reflect your personal values. Mira is a Resident in Counseling and holds a Provisional License in Art Therapy.
