Michael has a strong belief in the significance of relationships and how they play a role in one’s life. He recognizes the importance of the relationship between therapist and client and uses this relationship to create a safe and comfortable (and sometimes fun) space for clients to be and celebrate their authentic selves.
Michael sees inherent strength and value in everyone, and serves to help clients see and experience it themselves. Michael is passionate about his work, values his clients and their experiences, and has an inviting, nurturing, and fun personality. Michael views therapeutic work as a courageous and collaborative journey. His therapeutic style encompasses an integrative approach based on the client and their unique circumstances. He has an attachment, trauma informed lens while incorporating skill building, narrative, mindfulness, solution focused, DBT, family systems, and cognitive behavioral approaches to therapy.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with his family and friends, while staying active any way he can, and taking advantage of the outdoors. Additionally, Michael seeks balance in his life and appreciates learning in various forms, and relaxing at home with his family.
