Micaela Cohen is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern who is passionate about helping individuals feel understood, supported, and empowered in their healing journey. She works with teens and adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, and major life transitions.
She also has experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder and behavioral concerns, supporting emotional regulation, social skills development, and positive behavior change. She collaborates closely with families to create practical strategies that strengthen communication, consistency, and connection.
Micaela believes therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, authenticity, and respect. Her approach is strengths-based and client-centered, integrating evidence-based techniques to meet each person’s unique goals and experiences.
