Mia primarily works with children, adolescents, and their families. She is passionate about helping with trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, LGBTQ+ topics, ADHD management, self-esteem, and increasing coping skills. She strives to create a safe space, encourage collaboration between herself and the client, empower the individual, and help the individual through life’s challenges. Treatment will be adapted for each specific client as no person shares the same story. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of North Texas in Denton, Texas in 2019 with honors. In 2022, she earned her Master of Counseling from Lincoln Christian University with honors in Lincoln, Illinois. She gained her clinical experience working at a sexual abuse clinic in Illinois and a private practice in Texas where she provided treatment to assist clients and their families heal from day-to-day stressors to trauma.
