Menachem Uminer is a dedicated and passionate Registered Social Work Intern with a Master’s degree in Social Work from Barry University, where he was trained in a trauma-focused curriculum. He provides compassionate therapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups. His person-centered and strength-based approach is rooted in unconditional positive regard, ensuring clients receive unwavering compassion and empathy.
Menachem takes a holistic approach that considers each client’s unique life experiences, past traumas, and current environments, tailoring therapy to meet each individual’s specific needs. He employs techniques such as inner child work and narrative shifting to empower clients to rebuild their self-esteem and self-worth from the ground up. His ultimate goal is to foster a sense of safety, self-confidence, self-love, and self-compassion, helping clients achieve improved overall well-being.
Outside of his professional life, Menachem enjoys sports like football and basketball, values spending time with friends and family, and loves hanging out with his three cats.
