Melinda’s ideal clients are adults 20+, specializing in women’s concerns including anxiety and depression, CPTSD, trauma, chronic pain, recovery/sobriety support, grief/loss, faith and spirituality, challenging relationships, caregiver stress, stress management and career/work stress and life transitions.

Melinda’s specialties are interpersonal boundaries work, developmental trauma and shame, grief/loss.

Melinda’s therapeutic techniques are based on somatic and neuroscience (polyvagal theory) informed approaches for stress and trauma care as well as understanding relationship with self and others while integrating applied Adlerian theory that encourages creativity and community as central aspects of emotional and mental well-being. She often utilizes temperament theory as an avenue to cultivate self-awareness in the therapeutic process.
