Megan received her Bachelor of Social Work in 2020 from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She is currently in her Master of Social Work program at Walden University. Megan is a licensed social worker, working primarily with children and adolescents as a school social worker and mental health navigator. Megan uses a person-centered and strengths-based approach to working with individuals of all ages and has a passion for supporting individuals through a compassionate, empathetic, and empowering lens. Megan feels her work is rooted in a systems-based perspective, and is passionate about understanding and advocating for change within the many systems impacting an individual’s life. When working with children, Megan believes family involvement is key and essential, and is passionate about incorporating caregivers into the therapeutic process with their children.
In her free time, Megan enjoys spending time with her fiance, her two cats, her family, and her friends. Megan loves all things coffee, corny reality TV, doing yoga and pilates, reading, and planning her upcoming wedding!
