Megan is a compassionate, open-minded, creative, and authentic therapist who is passionate about helping others. Megan loves connecting with clients and being able to provide a safe supportive environment for individuals to grow. Megan works to empower individuals to find their strengths and achieve their goals through collaboration and a person-centered approach. Megan believes in meeting clients where they are at while incorporating aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. She also enjoys using her passion for art therapy to support individuals in exploration of themselves and processing their individual stories. Art making is encouraged but not required and art therapy is about the process not the product.
Prior to joining Ellie, Megan has become well-versed in working with clients in various settings and with individuals from all walks of life. She received her Master of Science in Art Therapy with a Concentration in Counseling from Mount Mary University in Wisconsin. Megan is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Wisconsin and working towards becoming a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching TV and movies, art making, listening to music, traveling, and being a foodie.
