Megan Kjolsing is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over a decade of experience, who sees the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative effort to help people achieve the quality of life they desire. Her practice is all about supporting people in navigating life transitions and events in a compassionate, mindful, and intentional way. She firmly believes in reminding her clients that they possess all the insight, tools, and answers within, she just gets to help guide them back to their true authority and power.
Megan has worked in a variety of settings including day treatment, outpatient, school, inpatient, crisis facilities, and college campus settings throughout her career. She specializes in working with couples and adults (in particular, college students and women). She is open to using any tools/ resources necessary to help each client, however she brings Solution-Focused, CBT, DBT, Narrative, Mindfulness, and Emotional Freedom Technique approaches routinely into her practice.
When not at work, Megan enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is a true extrovert who loves being around people, attending local activities, or planning her next trip. She also enjoys getting lost in a good book, listening to podcasts, and working out as forms of self-care.
