Meagan (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Master of Social Work with previous experience in working with adults and teenagers in outpatient and inpatient settings. She is currently under the clinical supervision of Dr. Tancy C. Horn Johnson LCSW-S, SEP, EMDR-CIT, DARTT, CEDS-S, ERP-C, TCTSY-F, RYT. Meagan enjoys working with individuals, families, and couples to address relationship concerns and challenges. She utilizes a trauma-informed lens to partner with clients to encourage a therapeutic relationship that fosters growth, acceptance, and feeling heard. Meagan feels that it is important to meet clients where they are, while providing a nonjudgmental environment for clients to explore and process.
Meagan is trained in EMDR and utilizes modalities such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy, and Mindfulness practices. Meagan has previous experience in incorporating movement practice in therapy, such as walking and some yoga practices. Meagan looks forward to walking alongside clients to create a welcoming space for all individuals who are seeking mental health treatment.
