As an LCSW, Mary has worked with children, teens, young adults and families on empowering each individual to successfully overcome their struggles. Mary graduated in 2020 with her Master’s in Social Work and certificate in Animal-Assisted Social Work from the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Social Work.  Over the last 4 years, Mary has worked in a variety of settings including both the school and outpatient settings. Mary approaches the therapeutic process from a client-centered lens by creating a collaborative and safe environment to explore barriers to living a more authentic life. Mary specializes in animal-assisted therapy, and often partners with her furry co-therapist Nalu. She also offers a variety of different modalities that best fits the client including CBT, DBT, MI, TF-CBT, IFS, mindfulness, art and narrative therapy.
