I am a bilingual therapist who speaks Spanish and English. Having graduated from Rutgers University with a Master’s degree in Social Work, I am a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT) in New Jersey. I am also trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Spanish Terapia Cognitivo Conductual (TCC).
My approach is collaborative and client-centered. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Spanish Terapia Cognitivo Conductual (TCC), with a humanistic and systematic approach, to assist clients in recognizing and confronting negative thought patterns. I also use mindfulness techniques to help with stress reduction and emotional control.
My area of expertise is helping those who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma. I have much experience helping young adults deal with stress and life changes.
Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy cooking, exercising, and attending church with my family.
