Maribel is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and obtained her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and also earned a certificate in Bilingual Counseling with an emphasis in Spanish. Her goal is to provide her clients with a safe space to express themselves and process their thoughts and feelings without judgment. Maribel enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults with concerns regarding anxiety, stress, self-regulation, self-esteem, life transitions, and trauma. She likes to incorporate either child-centered play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and/or creative techniques through games and arts.
