Margeaux is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern and is so excited to be part of the Ellie Mental Health Estero team! Originally from Broward County, Florida, Margeaux is a Florida native and has lived in the Fort Myers area since 2017 when she started at Florida Gulf Coast University. She earned two Bachelor’s degrees in 2020 and received her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2022. Margeaux has had the great pleasure of serving clients ages 3 to 87 in her time as a graduate student and a full-time mental health professional. Margeaux has a passion for providing clients with compassionate, respectful, and nonjudgmental care. She especially excels in working with teens and young adults. Her areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues. Margeaux works comfortably with Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Person-centered approaches to allow the client to make their best decisions. Margeaux loves to use humor and warmth to make her clients feel welcome and safe. She believes that even the smallest baby step can make a world of difference in improving the quality of one’s life.
When she isn’t seeing clients, Margeaux is an avid reader and horror movie fan. She enjoys spending time with a good book, typically fantasy or mystery, or watching movies. When she isn’t at home or with clients, you can find her shopping or spending time socializing with friends and family. Ask her about her favorite movie!
