Marcy Libeer is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who has 16 years of experience in the mental health field. Marcy has worked with children with severe developmental disabilities, teens in the juvenile justice system, seniors in nursing homes, and in an outpatient setting working with people of all ages and mental health symptoms. Marcy enjoys working with adults and teens with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief and loss, and trauma. She works with individuals, couples, and groups. Marcy completed both her Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology and her Master of Arts (MA) in Community Counseling at Adams State University. She utilizes several treatment approaches, including person-centered, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic, mindfulness, and some art/ experiential therapy. Marcy excels in making connections with her clients and values the therapeutic relationship the most. She views herself as creative and artistic, which she sometimes incorporates into her sessions.
