Malia earned her master’s degree from the University of Denver’s Forensic Psychology Program. Malia earned her LPCC in 2023 and is pursuing full licensure. She has worked with law enforcement officer’s families, children, adolescents, and adults. She has her certificate in Synergetic Play Therapy and EMDR. She has a passion for working with adolescents and adults experiencing trauma, loss, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and diversity related issues.
Malia’s approach is client-centered, trauma informed, and she values creating a brave space for clients to explore and enact positive change in their lives. On her free time, Malia enjoys working out, reading, spending time with her family and partner, and traveling.
