Makeshia is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor with Credentialing in Telemental-Health Counseling. She attended the University of Southern Mississippi where she earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology, she proceeded to earn her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Jackson State University. Makeshia specializes in counseling children from the age of 6 to adults. She offers Individual Therapy and Family Therapy. She has extensive experience in Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Oppositional Defiance/Conduct Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anger Management, Autism Spectrum, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, and Trauma. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, drawing, and reading fantasy books, if she is not attending cheerleading competitions.
