Madisen is workings towards her LPCC license and attained her Masters at Bethel University. She is a passionate therapist who uses humor, mindfulness, and trauma-informed modalities when working with her clients. Madisen holds the belief that clients have what they need to succeed in therapy inside of them, and that her job is to help clients see their own strengths and guide them through the therapy journey, with some psychoeducation sprinkled in throughout.
Before joining Ellie, Madisen spent some time in non-profit and school based mental health agencies working with children, young adults, and families. She is thrilled to join her passion for mental health with her love for providing innovative services to meet the unique needs of various communities.
Outside of work, Madisen can be seen playing with her cat and dog, drinking tea and reading at least 2 books at a time, and trying any new craft she can think of. She also enjoys all kinds of movies, with some of her favorites being The Hobbit/Lord of the Rings, Barbie, Napoleon Dynamite, and Gone Girl.
