Maddie Miller graduated from Oklahoma State University with her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Gender and Women’s studies in 2020 and received her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology in 2022. Maddie has worked in a variety of different areas, including college campuses, private practice, and a domestic violence shelter. She utilizes a person-centered approach and enjoys incorporating theories such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Maddie has special interests in issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, personality disorders, and interpersonal relationships. She enjoys working with populations such as college-aged students, middle-aged, and the elderly. Maddie is a firm advocate for women’s rights and the LGBTQ+ community. She believes therapy should be a place where you can be completely honest but also have a laugh! Therapy can be intimidating and she wants to ensure that it’s a process that focuses on growth, acceptance, and self-love!
