Logen Ashford, LPC-A

Deciding to begin therapy can be an overwhelming decision. Logen is aware of this and understands that connection is one of the most important parts of the process. She has spent the last two and a half years working with children of all ages and their families overcoming trauma from physical and sexual abuse or being witnesses to violence. She has accumulated many evidence-based trainings over this time including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) , Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) , and Play Therapy.

Logen is an LPC-Associate under the supervision of Saundra Monroe. She earned both her Bachelor and Master of Science in Psychology at Texas A&M University – Commerce. She is passionate about continuing her work in helping others heal from traumas they have experienced recently or long ago, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem, life transitions, and everyday life stressors. She strives to create a comfortable and welcoming space for clients while cultivating a therapy experience that will help clients reach full potential of growth and well-being.

Logen loves caring for her husband and four children, traveling, watching scary movies, and exploring new hobbies
