Linda McDonough is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervised by Dr. Carole Gilmore. She graduated with a BS in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Oklahoma State University in 2009. After more than 10 years in corporate settings, she went back to school in 2020 and received a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University in 2022. She is passionate about helping individuals become mentally and emotionally healthy. She works with adolescents and adults struggling with a variety of challenges such as general anxiety, depression, body image, OCD, social anxiety, family/relationship conflicts, life transitions, low self-esteem, and overall stress. Her client-centered approach to therapy stems from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) methods. She is beyond grateful for the opportunity to help individuals process their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in a safe and non-judgmental environment. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, being outdoors, baking, and reading.
