Life is not a straight path free from obstacles, and sometimes the coping skills that have worked in the past may not work anymore. Leanne understands that all experiences can be used for growth. She enjoys working with Adolescents and Adults and believes it is a privilege to walk alongside someone in their healing journey. Leanne uses person-centered, trauma-focused, mindful approaches with clients. She is newly certified in dialectical behavior therapy and often uses tenets of acceptance and commitment therapy, and narrative therapy techniques to help people build self-esteem, learn coping skills, develop their strengths, and tell their stories. Leanne has two teenage boys with her partner of 21 years. When she is not following them to their different sporting events, she is spending time with her beloved dog, George.
